Now if that is too expensive you could get the 1000 with something like the Allegra ($299 w/512K) to plug in the side or the MicroBotics Starboard II (~$300 w/512K depending on where you get it) and it can have another 1.5Meg added to it and a clock + 68881 when the multifunction module is available. You could port your MS-DOS programs or run the Transformer and be amazed at how slow they can be run. (It is currently not officially possible to run the Transformer under 1.2 so it won't run out of the Box on the 500) Or you could save the most money and get a 1Meg 500 and use your TV set or a cheapo monochrome monitor. System price will be about $900 ($649 + $150 + $100 (monitor)) less $100 if you use your TV. You would definitely want to port your MS-DOS programs in this case. -- --Chuck McManis uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: cmcmanis ARPAnet: cmcmanis@sun.com These opinions are my own and no one elses.
