It has long :since been determined that the Amiga drives cannot read Mac disks. :Period. Further discussion is less than useless, and will, in fact, Ha. That attitude is a fast way to get left behind the times! In this business, *nothing* is impossible. Even if one were to accept that fact, the discussion was still not a 'waste of time'. I for one gleemed a lot of useful information about Apple's disk driver and format (although GCR is old news to people like Bryce and I, who have picked through Commodore's 2030/ 1541 series floppy drive roms with a fine toothed comb). P.S. The Mac+ disk IO r/w times in BYTE are a crock.... I ran the tests myself and came up with about the same throughput as an Amiga... less even! -Matt ':' is a Pnews defeater.
