Have seen much on the net about printer drivers, and people wanting a drive
for "XXX" or "YYY"- brands....There IS a public domain printer driver compiler
around called PrtDrvGen.  It takes an ASCII textfile that has the
printer-specific commands within it, and writes out a full-featured driver
(which INCLUDES graphics modes).  It's written by J0rgen Thompsen, and should
be available on comp.binaries.amiga (or, if it isn't, will put it there).
 
It includes a prewritten data file for the NEC CP6/CP7 line of printers.
