I located the issues of Nibble (starting with May '84).  A stack of
magazines went with my Apple, when I took it over from my father.

In any case, the first paragraphs specify that this is ONLY for
ENHANCED IIe owners.  The technique, which doubles vertical resolution,
depends on using the second 64K bank (which I obviously don't have)

Two short notes:

My C pgms posted earlier, while designed for SUN workstations, is supposed
to be pretty portable.  The code should be readily translatable to convert
Apple ordinary Hi-Res to other formats (printer, graphics workstation,
other micro etc.)

Also SOFTERM II is put out by Softronics Inc.  I will post address and
phone # later.  I have seen a few 3d party offers, but I personally
bought my copy directly from them.  They are regular advertisers in
A+.  I see from an issue of PC magazine that they now have a version for
IBM's too, that looks even fancier (VT-220 and kermit support)
