It has VT-100 and Xmodem capability. Softerm II has VT-100 and about 25 other terminal emulations, Xmodem and Softrans. Proterm has a few terminal emulations (not sure which), Xmodem, Ymodem, Kermit, batch modes and wildcards. A good cheap modem is the one from 1-800-FLOPPYS (their toll free number). It costs $109 Plus $6 shipping and has software and a cable for your machine included. It is a 1200 baud Smarteam modem and looks pretty solid. It is fully Hayes compatible and has a speaker.
