Science Center Lines: 20 Keywords: files, disks, ProDOS Summary: no go My mother has been trying to use the database section of Appleworks on a II/C, and has been unable to save files to disks in her external disk drive. When she tries, she gets the message "disk full". She gets this message even when she tries to save files onto empty disks. Has anybody run into this problem specifically with Appleworks on a II/C? Is this Appleworks'/ProDOS's (???) indirect way of reporting a disk write error or an unformatted disk? Does she need to do anything special to access the external disk, beyond specifying it on the save menu? Any insights would be appreciated--by email only, as I do not read this newsgroup. Please assume no knowledge of the Apple II.
