It doesn't have any provisions for a "timeout" like the Unidisk 5.25 controller has. Because your Disk II controller won't ever give up trying to find a disk, you can't make it try. You'll need a Unidisk 3.5 controller, or convert the plug on your Disk II drive so it can plug into the smartport. Dave Whitney
