My intended setup will be: //gs Analog RGB Imagewriter II 2 3.5" drives 1 5.25" Is there anything I should know about them now? I have not followed all the modifications/updates for a while now and would appreciate any words of wisdom on this subject. Some misc. questions: WHERE could I get the best package deal? WHAT kind of RAM card is best? Are there any BETTER/CHEAPER drives (both 3.5 and 5.25) other than the ones that Apple produces? Are the bugs all corrected now (like the video chip)? Is there enough software out there now to make a GS worth it? Are there any new incompatibility problems between //gs's and the //e's? I would really appreciate any and all responses on this subject. I know a lot has happened in the //gs world since I stopped "following" the news on it, so I'd like to be informed before I buy. To insure my reception of any replies to any of my posts, please reply via mail instead of replying through the board. ____________________________________________________________________________ | | | Mike "The Metalhead" Kao: | | | | UUCP: {akgua,hp-sdd!hlpabs,sdcsvax,nosc}!crash!pnet01!mkao | | ARPA: crash!pnet01!mkao@nosc.arpa | | INET: mkao@pnet01.CTS.COM | |____________________________________________________________________________|
