I think that the ST sounds like my best bet (I want to spend about $1000). I have an important question: I have heard that there is a problem with the real time clock for the ST such that MIDI programs can miss 1/60th of a second, thus screwing up. MIDI is a concern of mine, so this is important. In general: I like to write in low level C/assembler, so any info on this would also be helpful. I would be interested in hearing about any hardware features people liked/disliked. Should I wait for this upcoming "MegaST"? Thanks. -- "I don't know what it is that scares me about death.
