Well, I suppose I could live without the VT52 emulation, but something with features of the sum of the control panel, install printer, and configure RS232 bits. Reason is that between my desktop.inf and the few things in my auto folder, all these adjustable thingies get set up the way I (almost invariably) want them -- and it annoys me that I can't get at them to adjust them on the few occasions when they want changed unless I've given up 4 accessory slots and probably 50K of memory (better used as a print spool) to the accessories which do these things. Spose I oughta write one :-) While I'm at that, the other thing on my wish list is a 'little bit different' command shell. There are a number of almost right ones about, but the one thing they won't do is let me get at the 'read-only/read-write' bit of file entries. (Yeah, I'm one of these perverts who likes the marginal insurance of having read-only set wherever possible.) It ought to be in the shell because it's cheap and because I don't want to have to switch to a utilities flopsy everytime I need the function. And it's incredibly boring to have to set the switch 1 file at a time from the GEM desktop, rather than with a 'protect *.*' from the desktop -- or, cal it chmod if you're feeling Unixy, but of course then it needs another parameter to tell it which way, so I'd go for protect/unprotect.
