I've been thinking about getting a 1040ST. The graphics are
decent, it's got MIDI, and the price is right. The only thing
holding me back is the lack of an expansion bus. I've heard of some
awful kludges involving the ROM cartridge port, are they true? do 
they work? are there alternatives? or should I just wait for the 
MEGA-STs?
