The name at least sounds more like it!
Maybe this location is read out by the desktop just after startup.
It may very well be another unused location (there's a lot of them).
Maybe you should do some digging in the desktop code to see if and how this
location is used. 
I hope that it is used for more than just passing a 'path'.
