If you are unable to find local help I know of a repair person whom I can *highly* recommend that will handle repairs via UPS. Please excuse this commercialism: $35 is the flat rate for labor and shipping. Major parts are extra. A sound chip is $15. You must: 1> Send via UPS. Preferably insured, but UPS only pays "blue book" values for damage or loss. 2> Include your power supply so it can be checked for subtle problems as well. 3> Include your Phone (with times), name and address INSIDE the box. 4> Include payment or means for payment. It is probably best to call first.
