Trubo Switch. This allows you to select speed in 1/2Mhz increments from 6 -12 Mhz, as well as to toggle between 6Mhz & your preset speed. In addition it has a reset button built in. List price is around $130. And yes, it will work fine on those ATs whose ROM checks for clock speed. I highly recommend their products.
