It is not only a great collection of programs (vi, sed, awk, cpio, dd, mv, cp, find, ls with all options, fgrep & egrep, etc, etc) but it includes aliasing and functions like Korn Shell AND has some of the best documentation I've ever seen. I use the MKS documentation to figure out UNIX commands of the same name (especially sed and awk!) With PC/VI at somewhere around $100 and MKS Toolkit and around $150 you're wasting your money to get only vi! My only complaint is that there appears to be no "lpr" or equivalent command to print files to the line printer; and my e-mail inquiries regarding same are either lost or ignored.
