I have been using PC/VI for six months and have no complaints except that the load time is really too long, but so is the MSC compiler and I consider it to also be an excellent tool. I use vi on UNIX and on DOS without having to think about which environment I am in. I have a shell that simulates the ksh keyboard interface (it does not support if, while, case, etc) but does support various editor modes and the `command` and is aware of COMMAND.COM. I find it compatible for my needs. Since I wrote it, I guess that if I don't find it right for me, I can change it. If anyone wants info on lsh (leder's shell) send me a reply and I will send you a doc. Bob Leder
