I have a strong gripe/problem with all of them I have tried (IT, Procomm, PC-VT, Smarterm 100, Kermit). I need a configuration, meaning VT-XXX emulator s/w and a keyboard with which I can use the PC as a terminal (on VMS VAX, ELXSI, Unix VAX) without having to be alert for the differences between the PC and a true VTXXX. That obviously would require a keyboard with the same keypad layout as a VT100/220, and emulation software that would produce keycodes identical to a true VT100. If anyone knows a combination keyboard and software that would produce a true VT100/220 terminal emulation (meaning all EDT-style keypad codes), please enlighten me. Tim Good Boeing Aerospace Co.
