It is RAM-based, but it will buffer the file to/from disk, and even informs you when this condition is present. It is a fairly simple editor and doesn't (thankfully) use WordStar command structure. Two windows are allowed, with straightforward cut and paste between them. It was written in IBM Macro-assembler and runs very quickly and I have never had reason to complain. The best thing is that it goes for $50.00 retail. It has some support for a mouse too, if you are into that. A nice escape to DOS feature lets you skip out to compile, link, and debug without leaving the editor, so to speak. I recommend it a lot around work, and everyone who has seen it has ended up using it and they seem to be pleased. Arthur Davis
