Has anyone out there ever seen any conversion utilities that will
convert from/and/or/to any of the *roff family and any PC based
word processor?  Any word processors that will already generate
*roff format text?

We are trying to standardize our documentation in a machine readable
form on our vax.  We'd like to use proff, because we have it both for
the vax and our PCs.  However, there is no way we are going to be able
to get our secretaries to dump the sexy word processors they are using
in exchange for vi and/or emacs and proff.  If conversion programs exist,
it could solve the problem by offering our secretaries something reasonable
in a WP yet compatible with the vax.

Please respond via mail if possible, due to the volume of traffic in
some of these groups it may make it difficult for me to spot replies 
otherwise.
