I'm about to begin teaching myself about 80286 and 80386 assembler
with intent of eventually writing my own OS, though in the meantime
making some 286 specfic changes to MINIX.  What I need is an Assembler
book which discusses such things as protected mode and addressing
memory beyond 1MB in the case of the 80286 (I assume it's easy (easier?)
with '386 ASM).  Does anybody have any recommendations?  How about good
OS books?  I have Tanenbaum's book which is excellent.
