	I understand that one of the major uses for the 68070 is in
the new CD-I (Compact Disk - Interactive) players which will run a
version of the OS-9 operating system called CD-RTOS.

	The SGN68070 is a very good match for this application, but
the choice of this particular processor was most likely influenced by
the fact that it is produced by Signetics which is owned by Philips
which in turn is one of the originators of the CD-I concept.
