Message-ID: <325@swanee.OZ> Date: Tue, 5-May-87 07:54:51 EDT Article-I.D.: swanee.325 Posted: Tue May 5 07:54:51 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 9-May-87 01:12:55 EDT Organization: El. & El. Eng., Uni. of Western Australia Lines: 18 Keywords: UNIX, Mac SE, A/UX, 68020 Mac II with it's implementation of UNIX is sure going to be a very fine system. But there is one draw back: it's going to be rather difficult to move it around. A big box, a separate monitor... in this respect the old Mac was a neat and practical solution. An alternative to A/UX on Mac II might be A/UX plus an appropriate 68020 and MMU card for Mac SE. Mac SE can take in one card - why not this one? This type of enhancement is so obvious and natural that if Apple is not going to come up with it, almost certainly someone else will. So, please, if you know something about it already, let me know. I may happen to be your first customer. ARPA : gustav%swanee.oz@seismo.css.gov UUCP : ...!{seismo,mcvax,ucb-vision,uks}!munnari!swanee.oz!gustav
