Summary: Another fatal error in Word 3.0 rears it ugly head

More Word3.0 horror stories.  Has anyone tried this:

Choose define styles (Format menu)
Set up the style (choose Paragraph and change the font size for instance)
Type NORMAL in the styles text box (lets redefine Normal)
Say OK to the dialog box that says "Style already exists"

La Bomba - a toss up between an ID=02 and ID=28.

Only a problem when you do this to normal; and alright if you choose
normal before setting up the style.

I'd be interested if anyone else can produce the same effect from these actions.

I don't know if I want Microsoft to hurry up and get a new version out, or
take their time, this time, and test it well first.  All I do know is if they
charge for it, I plan on becoming either a satisfied WriteNow or FullWrite
customer.  Still I must say, I expect a fair shake since their upgrade deals
to date have been quite fair.
