Yes it's true, and in fact there are four pictures. I do not know all the faces, but suspect that these may be more than just the SE development team(s). To see these, press the programmer's interrupt switch (the one nearer the rear of the machine) - you have installed the switch, haven't you? When the debug interpreter window opens and presents the > prompt, simply type G 41D89A and the system will cycle endlessly through the four digitized group mug shots. Much nicer than the signature on the back of the case (inside, it was), and leads to the possibility of revising the "signature" with new ROM versions. You want to stop it? Either hit the interrupt again, and do your thing, or hit the reset (that's the one nearer the front of the machine).
