I understand that the 80 MB drive is a Quantum embedded-SCSI drive. It requires no external SCSI controller, and comes pre-formatted from the vendor. From what has been said here earlier, it sounds like Quantum is having some problems with their microcode. If so, Jasmine is to blame for not doing a good job qualifying the drive, but the actual source of the problem is the drive vendor, not Jasmine.
