I know someone who will be buying an SE and will want to print to a LQ printer (Diablo, I suppose) as well as an ImageWriter II. Two questions: 1. Anyone had any experience (good or bad), with spooling to LQ printers? Using what? A print buffer? Spooling s/w? Does LaserSpool (from SuperMac) work with this? 2. Anyone had any experience (good or bad), with printing to LQ printers from a Mac? I know that Word 3.0 comes with some drivers. Can these drivers be used with other programs (MacWrite for instance)? How about Excel? I would appreciate ANY help on the subject. Thanks. -- Herb Barad - TRW Data Systems Lab ARPA: barad@brand.usc.edu USENET: ...!trwrb!trwspf!vito
