Xmodem uploads with PD terminal programs like Freeterm: How does one use the Xmodem upload feature in Freeterm? Using it with regular Xmodem (on our 4.3 BSD system) does not seem to work. I've tried using Freeterm with macget, but that does not work either. The only thing that works for me is to upload with Versaterm, with macget running on the Vax. Then, the file is uploaded in 3 parts, the resource, data and info forks, which is what I want. How could I use Freeterm (or Termworks) to do this? Summary: I wan't to upload with Freeterm, and get the 3 forks on the Vax end. Macget does not seem to work. 2) A lot of programs on PD disks come with a document of some sort; the icon is usually a sheaf of papers. Eg., one disk has Packit and Packit.doc. How can I look at these doc files? I don't want any word processing, I just want to be able to read these files on the screen. 3) How does one use the DA Miniwriter? Can it be used to look the doc files I refered to above? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! I'm an absolute novice in using Macs, so please send me any info, however trivial. Please send mail if that is convenient. Thanks, -ravi ravi@mcnc.org (ARPA) {seismo, decvax, ihnp4, ucbvax}!mcnc!ravi (UUCP)
