I suspect you have inadvertently fouled up a ".cnHeading;" and/or ".i.word;" entry in your document and are trying to collect a verrrrry BIG heading or index entry. Of course I have accidently deleted a semicolon on an index entry and gotten the rest of the paragraph in my index with no bomb. But when I don't mess up, things work fine.
