 I am looking around to buy a computer for serious programming. It
should have ample software available and should have the following,

   1) Software development tools 
   2) Should be able to act as a terminal to logon main frames. 
   3) Secondary storage > 20 MB 
   4) Main memory > 512K 
   5) price range $1700-$2500
