Lavallee) Organization: University of Lowell Lines: 20 Keywords: dialup terminal, termcap Summary: A maybe solution I suggested this to a customer once, and he said it worked. BOOT the machine with a line in the config.sys file that says DEVICE=ANSI.SYS And then you have type "ansi" terminal that then system understands. If that doesn't work, and you ahve 256K or more memory I would suggest ProComm. You may use this on a trial basis to decide whether you want to register or not and use it. The full details are in the document that come with it. You can download it from there board at (314) 449-9401. - Warren Lavallee lavallss@hawk.CS.Ulowell.Edu lavallee@ulowell.UUCP [And of course, these views do not necessarily represent the views of the University of Lowell, or Tandy/Radio Shack.]
