Specifically, is there an easy (without using the \overlay) method to place characters on different layers simultaneously, say both the red and the green layers in the my yellow colour example? We do not want, (nor can we accept), to define other colours, say yellow in the \colors command. To do so would generate another colour layer that the dvi program would not understand. We want only to generate the three primary colour layers. Slitex seems to generate "white" characters when no colour command is given by placing those characters on each colour layer. Is there a similar method available that would control the layers that information is placed on? -- Phone: (416)736-2100 x7765 Tyler Ivanco BITNET: fs300022@yusol UUCP: ...seismo!mnetor!yetti!gen1!tyler yfcs0027@yorkvm1 ...utzoo!/ \!carr!tyler
