    Put the 1010 in "A2 mode" via the terminal setup, and tell the system
you are using an Adds Viewpoint (avp on most systems).  As far as I know, 
the 1010 does not support anything useful that the avp doesn't, so you are
not losing anything.  I believe the only  real differences between the two
terminals are in the hardware used to support the terminal functions, and the
appearance.  For example, the 1010 has different styling, a different
keyboard with added function keys, and a much flatter screen.
