Wayne) Distribution: na Organization: Ford Motor Company, Scientific Research Labs, Dearborn, MI Lines: 23 Summary: csh for VMS (well, sort of) After a coworker got very tired of listening to me grouse about how terrible VMS is (I guess he had a hard time getting work done with all the noise I was making), he wrote a csh simulator for VMS. Now, it is VERY crude and somewhat fragile but it certainly helps me work on the machine. What it does: redirection < and > multiple commands/line com1 ; com2 history with substitution (matches spaces too) ls, cat What it doesn't: pipes (sigh) Because of the ; being used as a seperator, you must ref version numbered files like foo.bar.5 raterh than foo.bar;5.
