I always wonder why VMS cannot handle multiple commands on one single line. I guess that it has something to do with its internal design. Being in Berkeley, I can say that I *love* BSD UNIX, but there are things I will criticize on. For example, a lot of BSD features are kinda *hacked*, or added on later, instead of being a part of the original design. VMS is more structured and consistent. But still, I think BSD UNIX is far superior to VMS (and also System V). - Stephen
