Part of the address is !rayssd!userid (userid would of course be substituted by my friend's id). Our mail command uses the form: mailx address. I typed: mailx !rayssd!userid, then typed in my message and ended the session. A few minutes latter I received a mail that said my message was not sent. With the mail command is an Internet format option. Using this produced identical results. This leads me to believe my address is not elaborate enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Frank Phillips
