The 3b2 tty drivers require CD (pin 8) to be hi on the modem for it to send the dial codes. But if you set CD to be hi all the time on the modem, then the 3b2 has no way of knowing when the calling (inbound) party has hung up, and so the next caller on that line is now in on the same session. On chinet, I solved the problem (I use USRobotics Couriers) by building a little black box that sits between the modem and port. It uses a couple of edge triggerd timers to toggle the CD line down and back up on all incoming and outgoing calls. This has worked fine for over 2 years. -randy -- that's the biz, sweetheart.....
