This newsgroup/mailing list is for questions about UNIX. UNIX runs on nearly everything; VMS runs only on VAXes. Please conduct VAX-specific arguments in VAX-specific newsgroups, e.g. comp.sys.vax/INFO-VAX, in order to reach just those people who care about the issue. I believe there is also a newsgroup for generic OS discussion. Let's not clutter this information service with the same old irrelevant debates over and over.
