Hi gang...

	I have a few tentative bug fixes and enhancements for the x
tool kit, but I would like to talk to someone who knows a lot more
about these things before I release them on the world.  These are
typically one and two liners.  I just want to make sure that I'm not
breaking anything and I also want to lobby the gods for support on a
couple of things.
