I know it is something we all forget from time to time but in the
interests of portability please remember to use lint.  I have just
spent the last hour or so going over the Xtool lib' making sure that
all function pointers are indirected before use (a requirement under
the C compiler I am using).  If there is someone
I should send the diffs to, please let me know.
