A short question about borders in xterm.

I am a fanatic.  I don't like ugly borders around my windows.
How can I get xterm to behave properly?  Setting default `Border' doesn't
actually change the border color to what I want.  Setting `BorderWidth'
to 0 results in errors when xterm tries to color the border upon wakeup.

Is there a way to get what I want without hacking the source code?
