A really nice feature for kill-files would be a "timeout" for each killed item in the kill file. Once a certain amount of time has elapsed without an offending article appearing, its entry in the kill file should be silently removed - this would prevent the ridiculous situation whereby entering a newsgroup causes a massive search for articles to kill on subjects which are no longer "fashionable". (This also allows one to temporarily kill a subject for a while when you get bored with it, knowing that it'll come back later when you might be more interested). *=Simon -- ---------------------------------- | Simon Brown | UUCP: seismo!mcvax!ukc!{its63b,cstvax}!simon | Department of Computer Science | JANET: simon@uk.ac.ed.{its63b,cstvax} | University of Edinburgh, | ARPA: simon%{its63b,cstvax}.ed.ac.uk ... | Scotland, UK. | @cs.ucl.ac.uk ---------------------------------- "Life's like that, you know"
