Not knowing anything about nntp (nor do I care to, but I've been asked
by some friends to install it if I can), what I would first like to know
is: is the 4.3 distribution of nntp compatable with the 2.11 version
of news?  If not, are there any hacks that I should be made aware of?

Now, how about hacking rn (patch level 39) to make it nntp compatable?
Are the changes massive or not?
