Our system keeps losing on replying to sendsys requests.   Our
newsfeeds are hosts that have uucp connections, but we communicate with
them via arpanet nntp service exclusively.  Hence,  when our system
tries to respond to a sendsys request, it uses the uucp bang address
for the address to send to and the mailer fails.

Is there a reasonable way to fix this without hacking the news code?
