On the whole, I think we've done a pretty good job of settling down to the
subject (area) at hand.  First, the Objectivism discussion seems to have been
successfully redirected to talk.philosophy.misc (where it originated and 
where it, no doubt, belongs).  Second, the metadiscussion about "who owns
the group and what is it for" seems to have been resolved rather nicely,
judging by its rapidly decreasing percentage of postings.
