It's a basement bachelor apartment in a residential house on Marlee Avenue (just west of Allen Road at Eglinton). I'll briefly go over the good and bad points. Good Points: - 3 minute walk to Eglinton West Subway and a direct ride to UofT. - 5 minute walk to Food City supermarket. - free parking space is available (also garage space for a bicycle). - nice neighbourhood (beside Forest Hill) with parks close by. - currently $350 a month, though this is bound to go up. - heat and utilities are covered in the above cost. - good, available landlords. Bad Points: - relatively small (combination living/dining/bedroom plus a separate kitchen complete with fridge, stove, and, yes, shower!). - room for only one person and any pet bigger than a gerbil would feel cramped. - next to no sunlight so you better have hardy plants. - hardly any closet space, so it's not the kind of place for people with lots of junk. If you're interested, please feel free to drop me a line to discuss any other particulars. Marie Leung is the one to talk to if you are interested in renting. She can be reached at 449-3890.
