Lines: 10 Keywords: mac,68000,pascal Xref: mnetor comp.databases:316 comp.sys.mac:4337 I am looking for a solid encryption algorithm to be implemented in a new Mac database product. Here is a "wish list": 1. If possible, it should be able to preserve a sorted order on the keys it encrypts, since it will be used to encrypt the keys as well as the bulk of the data. This is probably impossible. 2. It must be as compact and efficient as possible. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The algorithm we choose will have to be as secure as possible.
