We're prepared to write tapes for people who can't ftp GNU.  We can
write 1/4" cartridge (tar) and TK50 (VMS save-set), or IBM-PC floppies
if you're desperate (we're about to move Emacs to a PC/RT with no
network).

If you need 18.41 + gdb for your box, especially in europe, we can let
you have it (or ftp it to you).  HOWEVER we'd expect you to make a
donation of $150 (ie what it would have cost you to buy a tape) to
FSF.
