    I am about ready to start writing a graphics program to run on IBM-PCs
    or any of the compatibles.  I want to use one of the existing graphics
    packages and would appreciate any tips/comments/recommendations/etc.
    I know of Dr. HALO and MetaWINDOW and I also heard that there are some
    GKS implementations.  The program that I'll write involves animation.
    If you know of a recent overview article of the different packages,
    please let me know.  Thank you in advance for any information.
