We have been considering using Whitesmiths 68000 development system which claims to be ANSI standard C with all sorts of nice features like source level debugger. My own experience with Whitesmiths has been that there was a lot of inconsistencies with standard UNIX libraries and conventions (ie. strcpy == cpystr and that sort of thing). I would appreciate knowing about any other compilers that have been found to be good thru experience. If everyone wants to mail directly to me, I'll be glad to make a summary of the responses and put it out on the net. Does anyone know where to get a copy of the 'new draft C standard'? Is there any email copies or does one have to resort to Canada Post? ---------------- Glen D. Little address: little@dreo-ewd.arpa Software Kinetics Ltd Stittsville (Ottawa), Ont. Canada
