I know there's been some discussion recently of C compilers for
MS-DOS, but since I didn't have an MS-DOS machine, I didn't pay much
attention to them.

Well, I'm now the "proud" owner of a Zenith 248, and in the market for
a C compiler.  If I remember correctly, Microsoft V4.0 has been
mentioned favorably.  Someone said that Turbo requires function
prototypes, which is something I'd rather not be forced to use.

I'd appreciate any comments/recommendations/warnings/etc and will be
happy to post a summary of replies.
